Justin Bieber: “People Say It’s Artistic…I’m Like…You’re An Egg”

Bow to Godstin Biebsus, my favorite male pop artist right now. When asked about Lady Gaga’s egg outfit, he remarked: “People say it’s artistic and stuff. I’m just like…you’re an egg.”

For this alone, he is forgiven for his imprudent comments to Rolling Stone about abortion and health care (issues that the journalist in question had no business asking him in the first place):

He also remarked that he told Gaga to back it up a second when she attempted to hug him while wearing her infamous meat dress.

Coupled with his shout-out to Britney Spears (“his girl”!) on his Twitter, yesterday was a wonderful day for Biebsus Christ!

Thanks to commenter Ducky for reminding me to post this!

I don’t listen to his music, but I can’t understand the excess hate for him among people when he is just another ‘usher, chris brown’ proto-type. to say the the least- he doesn’t annoy me. (although I’ve always hated chris brown, for everyone one of his music vdieos was a modern remake of an MJ one, but people finally somewhat noticed this when MJ died, ironically.)
at least he doesn’t go around like lady gaga saying he is ‘the best’ when hes not, hes just a product of our current musical industry, just doing what he gets paid for, preteneding that his music is a high art.

Yeah! I pointed this out because a lot of artists seem annoyed and baffled by Gaga.

I know, I don’t know why Rolling Stone thought it was a good idea to get into a political conversation with a 16 year old. I hope him and Britney get close. She too was once a famous teenager and I think she can really give him some tips and advice.

Gaga: ”And I’m like, I have Grammys and you don’t.”

haha wow you’ve just proved the ever annoying gaga-stan-mindset. “I have #1 hits, I have grammys, I have money and you don’t!!” why, thank you for defining fame and not talent, ‘specially in today’s modern music industry. Beacause damn, what a hotbed of talent the grammys and vmas are these days! (*sarcasticness*)
I remember a similar gaga stan making a comment when Joanna Newsom said gaga was like an “arty spice”, in one fo my fav interviews ever:
      http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/may/09/joanna-newsom-interview

one version I was reading had a comment section where fans repeatedly said “and who are you” and “and shes famous and your not!”. this is the mentality that makes gaga stans ever-annyoing. wth would Joanna Newsom, a professional Harpist, want to do with people famous in the billboard 100 with the likes of people like gaga? I’m sure she has 0 desire to even want to be in that void field. also, you’ve probably heard her music but just don’t know it, because shes very popular and you often hear her in comemrcials, tv, movies, etc. but the thing is she doesn’t give a shit about ‘fame’ so her music has real soul.

I’m no Gaga stan, but obviously you’re just jealous because your high pitched Justina Biebera wouldn’t be allowed to touch a Grammy award with a bargepole for fear of contaminating the holy object.

I’ve said this pretty much everywhere. Britney lost best new artist, and she’s now an icon and legend. That’s why I find him losing irrelevant. Grammys don’t make or break careers. Hell they are kind of useless.

Being a JB fan is not more embarassing than being a Gaga fan.
At least one of them is aware of what he is to this industry while the other is on a complete ego trip.
And her fans are on another planet right now. The awakening’s gonna be brutal !!! =(

    Britney Spears is 100000% FAKE.
I don’t like Lady Gaga either, but at least she can actually play an instrument and has good vocals. And Justin Bieber is worthless as hell. He says he can play the drums, but someone already researched it, and found he plays the same beat every time he plays, which has been 7-8 appearances….all the same exact beat.
That slut Britney Spears deserves to die, RIGHT NOW. She is a worthless person.

The thing that makes me happy is Lady Gaga. She makes me feel accepted. She makes me feel amazing in my own special way.
Even on really bad days, just listening to her shout out one of her quotes, or just hear a line from one of her songs makes my day 100 times better.
She always makes me happy and smile.
I listened to born this way non stop when it came out. I was soooo happy that day, everyone noticed.
I hate it when people talk shit about her, when she has done so much for so many people. You probably can’t see it, my parents and family don’t either. I’ve been bullied for being a Gaga fan in the past, someone actually told me to go cut myself with ”ShitGa” and I was called an ugly freak who no one would ever love and that all Gaga fans were fat and ugly, and that’s why they like her so much because they can relate to her.
You have no idea how much that hurt me.

“talking shit” about her? I wasn’t aware expressing opinons over her wanna-be provacative visuals and lyrics was ‘talking shit’. I guess we should NEVER look at anything in our current pop media, right, because it might hurt someone’s feelings? if your really this sensitive to anything that even barely goes against your interesrs, it’s no wonder you feel so bullied.

Um, yeah. No one’s asking you to cut yourself, and I’m not calling you fat and ugly. I just think she’s a phony. No guilt-by-association trips please. Thx bb.

Are you getting paid to say this stuff or something? Because as far as I know, this blog will not affect Lady Gaga or any other celebrity’s career in any way. What are you actually getting out of this?

I don’t get the sudden hate between Britney and Gaga fans. I’m not a big fan of Britney, apart from the Circus album- but I like her as a person. She seems really nice and I loved what she said about Gaga on her Twitter. So why is everyone trying to tear eachother up? I can get why Xtina fans have a problem with us Little Monsters, since Xtina pretty much hates Gaga-but why Britney? She has never said anything against Gaga.

the only problem i have with lady gaga is her arrogance! she all of a sudden thinks she made the music industry 100x better cuz she is in it. she needs to stop thinking she is the best at everything cuz she isn’t. its not her voice, its not her music it’s her fans that made her who she is and she seems to think it was all her.

I don’t understand what thrill you get out of trying to bring a Music Artist down and upsetting their fans. Quite frankly, I find it disgusting that you have to sink to that level to make yourself feel better

lol I can’t speak for the blog owner- but are you serious? What if he was writing a blog about how angry he was about a politician getting away away with anything, even though said politician is corrupt? it is no different, and both would be public, influential (sadly) figures. This isn’t ‘bringing a music artist down’ this is exposing the more corrupt side of them, while using supporting articles (some may consider ‘shit little monster’s say as offensive’, but what if it was ‘shit Hitler fans say” and showed how blind Nazi supporters were to politics and the inhumanity of Hitler’s rule before ww2? It reveals the effect gaga has on her fans, which is a relevant argument considering the way gaga’s fans act is like that of cult that turns a blind-eye to anything against gaga)
i’m glad to see a blog questioning lady gaga’s quotes, visual ‘inspirations’, and character, rather than one just acting all googley-eyed over her with no depth or reason, nor questioing of anything she says. The kind of people, who, when hearing lady gaga got an ’email from ‘madonna and her people’, decide to forget the whole problem- when really there IS still a problem.

Not sure about the Madonna email thing, you can never really trust the media. Even though I’m not a big fan of Gaga, I can see why so many people absolutely adore her. I know a few people who just like her as a person and not her Music. She recenty made Target stop funding Anti-Gay groups.

    Well well well, Mr Knepper,
While you’re out there complaining about her, at least she’s doing something with her life. Being a definetely NOT anti-Gay advocate for the LGBT community, donating to charities, and finally making the dump that calls itself Target stop funding the asses of Anti-Gay groups, as someone before me already said. And to clear up the things you said about her in your other post: You said she looked at a Gay person and just saw their sexuality, did you not? In that case, I will present you with the fact that she is a close friend of Adam Lambert, whom has publicly stated that he hates when people only see his homosexuality and don’t look through to his other qualities, and, as he put it, that there is more to him than just who he chooses to sleep with. If Lady Gaga was one of those people, do you think he would be friends with her?

That’s nice..? Adam Lambert is certainly allowed to think what he’d like, and perhaps Stefani Germanotta, the woman behind the mask, is friendly, down-to-earth, and as far away from patronizing as it gets. But as a non-celebrity, all I can do is examine her public image and history, as well as her marketing campaign. Obviously, I judge that to be completely condescending, and believe, for reasons I’ve already explained, that it attempts to boil everything important about me down to my sexuality.

I furthermore believe that she is incalculably harmful to gay people, overall, and that any good she does by donating money to this-or-that charity is offset by her very public reinforcing of the stereotype of the gay man as the fashion-obsessed, disco-dancing, glittery queen who loves to parade around about how he was ‘born this way, baby.’ She, like so many before her, speaks to the gay subculture, not to everyday gay men.
